the importance of individuality and will satisfy your
personal desires with a wide range of decorating ideas and
options.
The wedding cake is the centrepiece of your reception and
should be a unique reflection of your personal taste and
style. It must not only look fantastic, but taste delicious
too. The only limit is your imagination.
We do not have set designs as we like to work
individually using ideas, colours, fabrics, embroidery
patterns or any theme or personal touch you wish to
incorporate into the design. This ensures the cake is truly
exclusive to you - traditional, unusual, classical, exotic,
and novel - whatever you, the customer, require.
Your wedding cakes will be designed with you to give a
spectacular centrepiece for your special day. The cake may
be a traditional rich fruit cake, matured and soaked in
brandy for many weeks and covered with marzipan and
sugarpaste, or perhaps a fresh Madeira cake, a moist carrot
cake with cream cheese or an indulgent chocolate cake with
rich chocolate filling. Maybe you would prefer to offer a
combination of cakes and want to include cup cakes or fairy
cakes at the same time???
Fewer cakes are now created from traditional fruit cake, so
let your taste buds go wild! Carrot, lemon, chocolate,
almond and vanilla are just a few of the mouth watering
flavours to choose from.
Classic or contemporary – the shape will need to fit in
with the style and theme of the day and you will need to
bear in mind that the portions cut from unusual shapes will
differ from a more classic shape.
Collection or Delivery
 Each
cake is presented on an iced and ribboned board and is boxed
individually for collection. We will have already discussed
stands and presentation and can provide detailed
instructions on how to assemble your cake. If you would like
us to deliver your cake and ensure that it is correctly set
up , we can personally deliver and assemble your cake. There
is a charge for this service which is calculated on the
distance travelled and the time spent on assembling your
cake.
At the time of booking a minimum deposit of £100.00 is
required. The remaining balance should be settled four weeks
before the required date.
Cake stands are available in various shapes and sizes.
The stands and bases are free if you are purchasing your
cake from us. We do however ask for a deposit which is
refundable upon safe and complete return of stand.
